Description
Oculast Eye Drops contain azelastine, an antihistamine used to treat allergic conjunctivitis. It works by blocking histamine receptors, reducing symptoms like itching, redness, and swelling in the eyes.
Dosage/Directions: The typical dosage is one drop in each affected eye twice daily. Wash your hands before use, tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze the drop into the pocket. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
Side Effects: Common side effects include mild burning or stinging, dry eyes, and temporary blurred vision. Rarely, some users may experience severe allergic reactions, such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing. If you experience any severe side effects, seek medical attention immediately.
