Description
Argesun (Artesunate) 120mg Injection 1s is used for the initial treatment of severe malaria. Artesunate is a semisynthetic derivative of artemisinin, which is effective against the blood-stage asexual parasites of Plasmodium species, including chloroquine-resistant strains. It is administered intravenously and should be followed by a complete treatment course of an appropriate oral antimalarial regimen.
