Description
Alerfree (Levocetirizine) Tablets 1×10’s are an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. It is also used to treat itching and hives caused by chronic urticaria (hives). Levocetirizine works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.
Dosage/Directions
Take the prescribed dose as directed by your healthcare provider.
Take with or without food, usually once daily in the evening.
Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms improve.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include drowsiness, tiredness, dry mouth, and headache. Serious side effects are rare but can include difficulty urinating, weakness, and severe allergic reactions. If you experience any severe side effects, seek medical attention immediately.
