Description
Terbex Cream contains terbinafine, an allylamine antifungal used to treat various fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi, effectively alleviating symptoms like itching, burning, and scaling.
Dosage/Direction: Apply a thin layer of Terbex Cream to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Gently rub the cream in until fully absorbed. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Continue using the cream for the full prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve earlier.
Side Effects: Common side effects include burning, irritation, or itching at the application site. Less common effects may involve skin peeling, dryness, or redness. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing may occur. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe reactions.
