Description
Dexa-G Eye Drops 5ml contain Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid, and Gentamicin, an antibiotic. This combination is used to treat bacterial infections and inflammation in the eyes, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, and blepharitis.
Dosage/Direction: Instill one drop of Dexa-G into the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor. Ensure hands are clean before application. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Do not use this medication while wearing contact lenses; wait at least 15 minutes after using the drops before reinserting them.
Side Effects: Common side effects include mild eye irritation, burning, stinging, redness, or blurred vision. These symptoms are usually temporary. Rare but serious side effects can include severe eye pain, vision changes, or signs of an allergic reaction. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
