Description
Tofen Syrup 100ml contains ketotifen fumarate, an antihistamine used for the prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma and symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
Dosage/Directions:
- Adults: 1 mg (5 ml) twice daily with food. In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 2 mg twice daily.
- Children (above 3 years): 1 mg (5 ml) twice daily with food.
- Elderly: Same as adult dose or as advised by the physician.
Side Effects: Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, and slight dizziness, which usually disappear after a few days. Other side effects may include hyperactivity, irritability, and sleep disturbances. If you experience any severe side effects, seek medical attention immediately.
