Description
Ilaxten 20mg Tablets contain bilastine, a non-sedating antihistamine used to treat allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria (hives). Bilastine works by blocking histamine receptors, which alleviates symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes, without causing significant drowsiness.
Dosage/Direction:
For adults and children over 12 years, the recommended dose is 1 tablet (20 mg) once daily. It can be taken with or without food, and should be swallowed whole with water. For optimal results, take the medication at the same time each day.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, dry mouth, and fatigue. Rare but serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions or elevated heart rate. Contact your doctor if you experience any severe or persistent symptoms.
