Description
Salazopyrin EN 500mg contains sulfasalazine, an anti-inflammatory medication used to treat inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, as well as rheumatoid arthritis. The enteric-coated (EN) formulation allows the tablet to pass through the stomach and dissolve in the intestines, reducing stomach irritation. It works by reducing inflammation, pain, and swelling in the affected areas.
Dosage/Directions:
For adults, the typical dosage is 2-4 tablets daily, taken after meals, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Dosage may vary based on the condition being treated.
Side Effects:
