Monteru Tablets 10s

Monteru Tabs 10s is a dual‑action allergy and asthma relief medication combining Montelukast (10mg) and Rupatadine (10mg). This combination provides both leukotriene receptor blocking and antihistamine activity, offering broad symptom control for respiratory allergic conditions.

Rupatadine is a long‑acting second‑generation antihistamine that selectively blocks peripheral H1‑receptors, helping relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin itching. Some of its metabolites (e.g., desloratadine) also contribute to its antihistaminic effects. Montelukast works by inhibiting cysteinyl‑leukotriene receptors, effectively reducing bronchoconstriction and airway inflammation—essential in asthma, exercise‑induced bronchospasm, and allergic rhinitis.

Monteru Tabs are indicated for the symptomatic relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, asthma, hay fever, chronic allergy symptoms, and combined allergic respiratory conditions. It is also useful for managing exercise‑induced asthma and other airway‑related allergic inflammation

This medication is taken once daily, with or without food, and is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. It helps reduce histamine reactions, control airway inflammation, and provide consistent allergy relief.
