Description
FORALIN 200 Inhaler contains formoterol fumarate, a long-acting bronchodilator used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps prevent and decrease wheezing and breathing difficulties by relaxing the muscles around the airways, making it easier to breathe.
Dosage/Direction:
- Shake the inhaler well before use.
- Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and close your lips around it.
- Press down on the inhaler to release a dose while breathing in deeply and slowly.
- Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
- Typically, the dosage is one inhalation twice daily (morning and evening), as prescribed by your doctor.
Side Effects:
- Common: Headache, chest pain, trouble sleeping, nausea, vomiting, hoarseness of voice, fungal infections in the mouth, cough, sore throat.
- Serious: Fast or irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing).
