Description
Keppra 250 mg Tablets contain levetiracetam, an antiepileptic drug used to control seizures in patients with epilepsy. Levetiracetam works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain, which helps prevent seizures. It is commonly prescribed as an adjunct therapy for partial-onset, myoclonic, and generalized tonic-clonic seizures.
Dosage/Direction:
The usual starting dose for adults is 1 tablet (250 mg) taken twice daily. The dose may be gradually increased based on the patient’s response and tolerability, up to a maximum of 3,000 mg per day.
