Levobact 750 mg Tablets contain levofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. Levofloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial growth and replication.
Dosage/Direction:
The usual dose for adults is 750 mg once daily for 5 to 10 days, depending on the type and severity of the infection. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. It’s important to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed, even if symptoms improve.
