Dosage/Directions:
The typical starting dosage for adults is one 500mg tablet taken twice daily, with or without food. For acute pain, an initial dose of 500mg followed by 250mg every 6 to 8 hours as needed is recommended. The total daily dose should not exceed 1250mg.
