Description
Patanol Eye Drops contains olopatadine hydrochloride, an antihistamine used to treat symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, such as itching, redness, and watering of the eyes.
Dosage/Direction: Instill 1 drop into each affected eye twice daily, with an interval of 6 to 8 hours between doses. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze the dropper to release a drop into the pocket. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
Side Effects: Common side effects include mild eye irritation, burning, stinging, dryness, and blurred vision. Serious side effects may include eye pain, swelling of the eyelid, face, lips, or feet, and trouble breathing. If you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
