Description
Duoskin Cream contains isoconazole nitrate and diflucortolone valerate, making it effective for treating superficial fungal infections of the skin accompanied by inflammation or eczematous conditions. It helps reduce inflammation, redness, and itching caused by dermatophytes.
Dosage/Direction: Apply Duoskin Cream twice daily to the affected areas. For interdigital spaces, it is often recommended to apply a gauze compress coated with Duoskin between the fingers or toes. Treatment should be terminated after the inflammation or eczematous conditions regress, or at the latest after two weeks.
Side Effects: Common side effects include burning, redness, or irritation at the application site. Prolonged use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, or systemic effects due to corticosteroid absorption. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness, or trouble breathing may occur. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe reactions.
