Description
Scabion Lotion contains crotamiton and sulphur, making it effective for treating scabies and other skin conditions caused by mites. Crotamiton is a scabicide that kills mites and relieves itching, while sulphur has antiseptic and keratolytic properties that help to remove dead skin cells and prevent infection.
Dosage/Direction: Apply Scabion Lotion to the entire body from the neck down after a bath or shower. Massage it into the skin, paying special attention to folds and creases. Leave the lotion on for 24 hours, then wash it off with soap and water. Repeat the application after 24 hours if necessary. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes.
Side Effects: Common side effects include skin irritation, redness, and itching at the application site. These effects are usually mild and subside on their own. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing may occur. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe reactions.
