Description
Arbitel 80H Tablets contain a combination of telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide, used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessel constriction, while hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps remove excess salt and water from the body. Together, they help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart-related complications. The usual dosage is one tablet taken once daily, with or without food. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, increased urination, dry mouth, and stomach pain. Serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and significant drops in blood pressure. Patients with kidney or liver disease, heart problems, or electrolyte imbalances should use this medication with caution. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid using Arbitel 80H unless advised by a healthcare professional. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function is recommended.
