Description
Atorid 40 tablets contain atorvastatin, a statin used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. It helps prevent heart disease, angina, strokes, and heart attacks by reducing “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and increasing “good” cholesterol (HDL). Atorid 40 is typically prescribed alongside diet, weight loss, and exercise.
Dosage/Directions: Take one tablet daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage adjustments based on your cholesterol levels and response to treatment. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Side Effects: Common side effects include muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhea, and nausea.
