Description
Nexpro 40mg Tablets contain esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor used to treat conditions related to excessive stomach acid production, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Esomeprazole works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach, providing relief from symptoms and promoting healing.
Dosage/Directions
Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning at least one hour before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding dosage adjustments.
Side Effects
Common side effects include headache, nausea, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Less common side effects may include dizziness, dry mouth, and skin rash. If you experience severe side effects such as difficulty breathing or swelling, seek medical attention immediately.
