Description
Valdoxan 25mg Tablets contain the active ingredient agomelatine, an atypical antidepressant primarily used for the treatment of major depressive episodes in adults. Valdoxan works by regulating melatonin receptors and serotonin levels, which helps improve mood and sleep patterns. The usual dosage is one tablet taken at bedtime, although in some cases, a doctor may prescribe two tablets (50mg) to be taken together at bedtime. It is essential not to exceed the maximum recommended dose of two tablets daily and to consult a healthcare provider before making any changes to the dosage. Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Valdoxan is contraindicated in patients with liver failure and those allergic to agomelatine.
