Atarax Tabs 25mg contain hydroxyzine, an antihistamine used to treat anxiety, tension, and allergic skin reactions such as hives or contact dermatitis. It works by reducing activity in the central nervous system and blocking the natural chemical histamine in the body. The usual dosage for adults is 25 mg taken three to four times daily.
