Description
Bromocriptine 2.5mg Tablets are used to treat conditions caused by high levels of prolactin, such as prolactin-secreting adenomas, and to manage symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and acromegaly. Bromocriptine works by mimicking dopamine, a natural substance in the brain, to reduce prolactin levels and control growth hormone production.
Dosage/Directions: Take 1.25 to 2.5 mg once daily, with food to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response and tolerance. Do not stop taking this medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms.
