Description
Catoxymag N Suspension 200ml is an antacid solution designed to relieve symptoms of heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach. It contains a blend of active ingredients: Alginic Acid (100 mg) to form a protective barrier in the stomach, Aluminium Hydroxide (200 mg) and Magnesium Hydroxide (100 mg) to neutralize stomach acid, Magnesium Trisilicate (200 mg) to provide additional antacid effect, and Simethicone (25 mg) to reduce gas and bloating.
Dosage/Directions:
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10-20ml after meals and before bedtime, or as directed by a healthcare provider. For children aged 6-12 years: Take 5-10ml as needed. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Side Effects:
Common side effects may include constipation or diarrhea, depending on the balance of aluminium and magnesium compounds. Rare side effects might include allergic reactions or gastrointestinal discomfort. Discontinue use if severe symptoms like rash or difficulty breathing occur and seek medical advice.
