Description
Clarie DS 250 Suspension is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Its active ingredient, Clarithromycin, is a macrolide antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the growth of bacteria. It is commonly prescribed for infections of the respiratory tract, skin, and other areas.
Dosage/Directions:
Adults: Take 10ml twice daily, usually for 7-14 days depending on the infection. Children aged 6 months to 12 years: Dosage is based on body weight, typically 7.5-15mg/kg twice daily. Shake well before use and measure the dose accurately with the provided measuring device. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.
Side Effects:
Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or headache. Rare but serious side effects can include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, or abnormal heart rhythms. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if severe symptoms occur.
