Combigan Eye Drops 5ml contain Brimonidine and Timolol. Brimonidine reduces the amount of fluid in the eye, decreasing pressure, while Timolol is a beta-blocker that also reduces pressure inside the eye. This combination is used to treat open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Dosage/Direction: Instill one drop of Combigan into the affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, or as directed by your doctor. Ensure hands are clean before application. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Do not use this medication while wearing contact lenses; wait at least 15 minutes after using the drops before reinserting them.
Side Effects: Common side effects include burning, stinging, itching, redness, or dryness of the eyes. Other possible side effects are blurred vision, headache, dizziness, and dry mouth. Rare but serious side effects can include severe eye pain, vision changes, or signs of an allergic reaction. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
