Diracip-M DS Tablets contain a combination of Metronidazole (400mg) and Diloxanide (500mg). Metronidazole is an antibiotic that kills bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging their DNA, while Diloxanide is an amoebicide that works inside the large intestine to kill infection-causing amoeba (parasites). This combination is used to treat protozoal infections such as amoebiasis, giardiasis, and trichomoniasis, effectively preventing the growth of infection-causing microorganisms.
