ESMERON I.V INJ 10mg/ml, 5ml vial x 10

Esmeron (rocuronium bromide) is a muscle relaxant used as part of general anesthesia during surgery. It is administered intravenously and works by blocking the impulses from nerves to muscles, causing muscle relaxation. This makes it easier for the surgeon to perform the operation.

The Esmeron 10 mg/ml solution for injection comes in a 5ml vial. This means each vial contains 50mg of rocuronium bromide.

Esmeron is used to facilitate tracheal intubation during routine induction of anesthesia and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery. It can also be used in the Intensive Care Unit to keep your muscles relaxed.

Please note that Esmeron should not be used if you are allergic to rocuronium, the bromide ion, or any of the other ingredients of Esmeron. Also, special care should be taken if you have had kidney, heart, liver or gall bladder disease, diseases affecting nerves and muscles (e.g., poliomyelitis, myasthenia gravis), or fluid retention (oedema).
