Flucoldex Tablets 12’s contain a combination of paracetamol, phenylephrine, and chlorpheniramine. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic that helps reduce pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that relieves nasal congestion by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and itching. This combination is used to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, such as nasal congestion, excess mucus production, runny nose, headache, and fever.
Dosage/Directions: The typical dosage for adults and children over 12 years is one tablet taken every 4 to 6 hours as needed, but not exceeding 6 tablets in 24 hours. It is important to follow the dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider or the package insert.
Side Effects: Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
