Framydex Eye/Ear 8ml

Framydex Eye/Ear Drops is a combination medication containing framycetin, an antibiotic, and dexamethasone, a corticosteroid. It is used to treat bacterial infections and reduce inflammation in the eyes and ears.

Dosage/Direction: For eye infections, instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) 2-4 times daily. For ear infections, instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear(s) 3-4 times daily. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully and avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.

Side Effects: Common side effects include mild stinging or burning sensation, redness, and temporary blurred vision when used in the eyes. When used in the ears, it may cause mild ear discomfort or itching. Serious side effects may include increased intraocular pressure, cataract formation, or allergic reactions. If you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
