Gabbroral 250mg tablets contain Paromomycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat various intestinal infections, including amoebiasis, cryptosporidiosis, and giardiasis. Paromomycin works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, leading to bacterial death. It is also used as an adjunct therapy for managing hepatic coma.
Dosage/Directions
Adults: The typical dosage for intestinal infections is 25-35 mg/kg/day, divided into three doses taken with meals for 5-10 days. For hepatic coma, the dosage is 4 grams per day, divided into regular intervals for 5-6 days. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions and complete the full course of treatment.
Side Effects
