Description
Glifempa M 25/500mg tablets are used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. Each tablet contains Empagliflozin (25mg) and Metformin (500mg). Empagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that helps lower blood sugar levels by increasing the excretion of glucose through urine. Metformin is a biguanide that reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, enhancing glucose uptake and utilization by the muscles.
Dosage/Directions
Adults: The typical starting dose is 1 tablet once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. The dosage may be adjusted based on the patient’s response and blood sugar levels. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions and do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Side Effects
