Description: Glucomet XR 1000mg Tablets contain metformin hydrochloride in an extended-release formulation designed to provide a gradual release of medication over time. This helps to control blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes by reducing liver glucose production, increasing insulin sensitivity, and enhancing glucose uptake by muscles. The extended-release formulation minimizes fluctuations in blood glucose levels and reduces the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.

Dosage/Directions: The typical starting dose is 1000mg once daily with the evening meal.
