It should not be used on large areas of skin, on broken skin, or areas such as the mouth, eyes, anal or genital regions. How to use Hirudoid Gel

When it comes to using this gel, the amount you will need to use will be dependent on the area of skin that you are treating. The recommended amount is between 5-15ml and applies as a thin layer over the affected skin.
