Description
Itokine (Itopride) 150 mg Tablets are a prokinetic agent used in the treatment of functional dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and delayed gastric emptying.
Active Ingredient: Itopride Hydrochloride 150 mg
Pharmacological Class: Gastroprokinetic / Dopamine D2 receptor antagonist
Mechanism of Action:
- Enhances gastric motility by inhibiting dopamine D2 receptors.
- Increases acetylcholine release in the gastrointestinal tract.
- Accelerates gastric emptying and improves digestive function.
Indications:
- Functional dyspepsia (indigestion, bloating, early satiety)
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Chronic gastritis with delayed gastric emptying
- Nausea and vomiting associated with impaired motility
