Description
Mobic 7.5mg Tablets contain Meloxicam, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Meloxicam works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Dosage/Directions:
The typical dosage for adults is one 7.5mg tablet taken once daily, with or without food. If needed, the dosage may be increased to 15mg once daily, as prescribed by a healthcare professional. It is important to take the medication at the same time each day and not to exceed the prescribed dosage. Drink a full glass of water with each dose and avoid lying down for at least 10 minutes after taking the tablet.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include stomach upset, nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea. Some patients may experience headache, constipation, or upper respiratory infections. Rarely, severe side effects such as stomach bleeding, heart attack, or stroke may occur. If any severe side effects are experienced, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider immediately.
