Description
Ontel 80 Trio Tablets are a combination medication used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Each tablet contains three active ingredients: Telmisartan (80mg), Amlodipine (10mg), and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg). Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that helps relax blood vessels, improving blood flow. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that reduces the workload on the heart by relaxing blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps reduce excess fluid in the body, further lowering blood pressure. This combination effectively manages blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Dosage/Directions
Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Consistency in taking the medication at the same time each day is crucial for optimal results.
