Description
Orbidex T Eye Drops is a combination medication containing dexamethasone (0.1%) and tobramycin (0.3%). It is used to treat steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions where bacterial infection or the risk of bacterial infection exists.
Dosage/Direction: Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4-6 hours. During the initial 24-48 hours, the dosage may be increased to 1 drop every 2 hours. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully and avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
Side Effects: Common side effects include localized ocular toxicity, hypersensitivity reactions such as lid itching and swelling, conjunctival erythema, and increased intraocular pressure. Serious side effects may include glaucoma, optic nerve damage, posterior subcapsular cataract formation, and delayed wound healing. If you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
