Description
Otobiotic Ear Drops is a combination medication containing neomycin, beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and lidocaine. It is used to treat bacterial and fungal ear infections by reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and preventing the growth of infection-causing microorganisms.
Dosage/Direction: Instill 2-3 drops into the affected ear(s) 3-4 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Tilt your head to the side, gently pull the earlobe to open the ear canal, and squeeze the dropper to release the drops. Keep your head tilted for a few minutes to allow the medication to spread. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
Side Effects: Common side effects include ear discomfort, burning sensation, and irritation. These symptoms usually subside on their own. Serious side effects may include allergic reactions such as severe itching, redness, or swelling. If you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
