Description
Peitel 0.25 Cream contains prednicarbate, a medium-potency topical corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. It helps reduce inflammation, redness, and itching, making it suitable for sensitive skin regions and large areas requiring long-term treatment.
Dosage/Direction: Apply a thin layer of Peitel 0.25 Cream to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor. Gently rub it in until fully absorbed. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on the face, groin, or underarms unless advised by your doctor. Treatment should not exceed four weeks without medical supervision.
Side Effects: Common side effects include burning, itching, or redness at the application site. Prolonged use may lead to skin thinning, stretch marks, or systemic effects due to corticosteroid absorption. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing may occur. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe reactions.
