Proctosedyl Ointment is for the discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles) and other painful conditions of the anus, such as fissures or tears. Proctosedyl Ointment’s active ingredients work together to reduce swelling, numb pain and relieve itching.

Each gram contains: Hydrocortisone 5mg, Cinchocaine hydrochloride 5mg. Inactive: liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin
Proctosedyl ointment must be used as per doctor’s prescription. It is for external use only. Before using the medicine check the label for directions of use and apply gently on the clean and dry affected area. You should always wash your hands after applying it. Avoid getting it into your eyes or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
How to use
Gently apply a small amount of ointment (by finger or nozzle) to the affected area up to 3 times a day (eg after your morning bowel motion, noon and evening) or as per your doctor or pharmacist’s instructions.
For rectal use only.
