Description
Proximexa Tabs 250mg contain Cefuroxime Axetil, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is effective against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Proximexa is used to treat various bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and Lyme disease. The tablets are film-coated for ease of swallowing and are typically prescribed for short-term use to combat bacterial infections.
Dosage/Directions:
- Adults: 250 mg every 12 hours for 10 days.
- Children (3 months-12 years): 20 mg/kg/day divided every 12 hours for 10 days, not exceeding 500 mg/day.
