Description
Risdone 2mg Tablets 50’s contain Risperidone 2mg. This medication is an antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability associated with autism. Risperidone works by changing the effects of chemicals in the brain.
Dosage/Directions
Dosage: One tablet daily, usually taken with or without food
Directions: Take the tablet at the same time each day for maximum benefits. Do not stop taking it or change the dose without guidance from your healthcare provider
Side Effects
Common side effects may include drowsiness, sedation, sleeplessness, tremors, change in speech patterns, headaches, abdominal pains, and weight gain. Severe side effects, though rare, can include neuroleptic malignant syndrome (a serious condition that can cause fever, muscle rigidity, and altered mental status).
