Rupatine 10 mg Tablets contain Rupatadine, a potent antihistamine effective in treating allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria (hives). This medication works by blocking histamine receptors, reducing symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itching.
Dosage/Directions:
The recommended dosage for adults and children aged 12 years and older is one tablet (10 mg) taken once daily, with or without food. For children aged 6 to 11 years, the dosage is reduced to half a tablet (5 mg) once daily. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Side Effects:
Common side effects may include drowsiness, headache, fatigue, and dry mouth. Rare but serious side effects can include allergic reactions, dizziness, or heart palpitations.
