Description
Septrin Tabs Forte 960mg contains Sulfamethoxazole 800mg and Trimethoprim 160mg. It is a combination antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including bronchitis, ear infections, sinusitis, kidney infections, bladder infections, stomach infections, bowel infections, skin infections, and wound infections. The two components work together to inhibit bacterial growth and help clear the infection.
Dosage/Directions
Dosage: One tablet twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
Directions: Take with plenty of water. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce stomach upset.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and rash. Severe side effects, though rare, can include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and blood disorders. Consult your healthcare provider if you experience any severe symptoms.
