Tacrovate Plain Ointment 10g

Tacrovate Plain Ointment contains tacrolimus 0.03% w/w, an immunosuppressant used for treating moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) in patients who do not respond well to conventional therapies or experience side effects from them. Tacrolimus works by modulating the immune system to reduce inflammation and itching.

Dosage/Direction: Apply a thin layer of Tacrovate Plain Ointment to the affected areas twice daily, or as directed by your doctor. Gently rub it in until fully absorbed. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and mucous membranes. Do not cover the treated area with bandages or other dressings unless instructed by your doctor.

Side Effects: Common side effects include burning, itching, redness, or warmth at the application site. These symptoms usually decrease with continued use. Rarely, more serious side effects such as skin infections, flu-like symptoms, headache, or increased sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures may occur. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any severe reactions.
