Zefcolin Syrup 100ml, containing Dextromethorphan and Cetirizine, treats dry cough and allergies. It suppresses cough and relieves nasal congestion.
Zefcolin Syrup 100ml is a cough remedy containing Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, Cetirizine Hydrochloride, and Racemic Menthol. It is used for the symptomatic relief of dry, non-productive coughs and upper respiratory symptoms associated with allergies. The combination of ingredients helps suppress cough, relieve nasal congestion, and reduce allergic reactions.
Dosage/Direction
- Adults:Â 10 ml, 3-4 times daily.
- Children (6-12 years):Â 5 ml, 3-4 times daily.
- Children (2-6 years):Â 2.5 ml, 3-4 times daily.
- Infants:Â Not recommended.
Side Effects
Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea, and dizziness. Serious side effects are rare but may include allergic reactions and severe dizziness. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components and those with severe hypertension or coronary artery disease.
