Description
FML-NEO Eye Drops is a combination medication containing fluorometholone, a corticosteroid, and neomycin, an antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections by reducing inflammation and killing bacteria.
Dosage/Direction: Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) 2-4 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze the dropper to release a drop into the pocket. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
Side Effects: Common side effects include mild eye irritation, itching, blurred vision, and redness. Serious side effects may include increased intraocular pressure, cataract formation, delayed wound healing, and secondary infections. If you experience any severe or persistent symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
