Gramocef 100mg/5ml 100ml is an antibiotic suspension containing Cefixime, a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. It is effective against a range of infections including respiratory tract infections, ear infections, and urinary tract infections. Cefixime works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, leading to the destruction of bacteria. The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years is 10 ml (200 mg) once daily or 5 ml (100 mg) twice daily, depending on the severity of the infection. For children aged 6 months to 12 years, the dosage is adjusted based on body weight and medical advice. Shake the bottle well before each use and measure accurately.
