Description
Lysoflam Gel is a topical pain-relieving gel containing Diclofenac (1.16% w/w), a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to alleviate pain and reduce swelling in joints and muscles. This gel is effective for treating conditions such as sprains, strains, bruises, tendonitis (e.g., tennis elbow), and osteoarthritis. Diclofenac works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation.
Dosage/Directions:
Apply Lysoflam Gel to the affected area 2 to 4 times daily, as advised by a healthcare professional. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Gently rub the gel into the skin until it is absorbed. Avoid covering the treated area with a bandage or plaster. Wash your hands after applying the gel unless the hands are the treated area.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include skin irritation, redness, itching, and a burning sensation at the application site. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as rash with blistering may occur. If any severe side effects are experienced, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider immediately.
