Description
Benylin with Codeine 100ml is a cough syrup designed to alleviate symptoms of dry, persistent coughs. It combines the cough suppressant properties of codeine with expectorants to reduce throat irritation and suppress the cough reflex, providing relief and aiding in restful sleep.
Dosage/Directions:
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 5ml every 4-6 hours, as needed. Do not exceed 20ml in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 12 years, pregnant women, or those with respiratory issues. Shake well before use.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include drowsiness, constipation, nausea, or dizziness. Prolonged use may lead to dependence due to the codeine content. Severe side effects like difficulty breathing, allergic reactions, or confusion should prompt immediate medical attention.
